Institutional Media Infrastructure

Building the creative systems and visual communication infrastructure that keep a research institution running.

Beyond signature programs and public-facing content, research institutions need comprehensive visual communication systems that operate daily across multiple platforms and audiences.

At Max Planck Florida, I develop and maintain the creative infrastructure that supports institutional operations.

This work includes producing photos and videos for education, marketing, laboratory protocols and safety procedures, crafting visual assets for board meetings and donor-focused presentations, and establishing best practices that were shared with Max Planck Society headquarters in Munich.

My role requires collaborating with scientific experts to balance scientific accuracy with visual clarity, managing concurrent projects across departments, and building scalable workflows that enable the communications team to maintain consistent quality.

This infrastructure work demonstrates that impactful institutional creativity isn't just about showcase projects; it's about building systems that enable an organization to communicate effectively every single day.
